I’m Brittany, the face behind Vamp Cosmetic. I’m based out of Alnwick, Northumberland where I work alongside the most amazing group of inspiring, positive and supportive people at Real Collective.
I started my PMU career in 2016 and specialise in natural-looking permanent makeup to highlight your features.
My goal is for you to leave Vamp Cosmetic feeling like your natural beauty is shining.
I absolutely love my job and am so grateful for all my clients who have supported me along this journey, it means the world.

I’m from Vancouver Island, Canada
Registered with the International Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500hour advanced yoga teacher
(I have the experience, knowledge & credentials to lead & teach yoga teacher trainings internationally)
I met my British boyfriend in Costa Rica where we lived together for a year.
I later moved to Alnwick with my fur-baby, Bentley, to be with him - best decision yet.
My daily meditation & living-yoga practices have changed my life.
I’m 13 times certified in Permanent Makeup & Paramedical Tattooing.
I’m a free spirit and I thrive in nature - forests, mountains and oceans are where I feel most at home.
I firmly believe in authenticity, sincerity and truth.
I refuse to filter my imperfections on social media or dull my shine in person.

Permanent makeup also known as cosmetic tattooing is a safe and natural-looking alternative to the expense and daily routine of applying makeup upon waking in the morning and often times throughout the day.
It’s a state-of-the-art technique of permanently applying makeup via micropigmentation. Specially formulated pigments are deposited into the facial skin over 1-2 sessions using a soft layering technique to create the most natural looking results.

Frequently Asked Questions
DOES IT HURT?
It is completely normal to feel anxious about the procedures. We use a range of topical anaesthetics to ensure that you are as relaxed as possible during the treatment and that any discomfort is kept to an absolute minimum. Most clients describe the sensation as ‘tingling vibrations’ rather than pain and many fall asleep during the procedure.

WHO CAN HAVE THE TREATMENT?
Providing that there are no medical contraindications, anyone over the age of 18 can have permanent make up. We will send out medical forms and a patch test before the procedure and can discuss the results during your consultation.

IS IT PERMANENT?
The pigment will affect everyone differently depending on skin tone, sun exposure, lifestyle and medication. The treatments can last several years but due to the elements listed above we do recommend an annual maintenance appointment.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Procedures vary in length and can range from between 90 minutes to 3 hours, we are happy to discuss this during your consultation.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT BEFORE TREATMENT?
Please do not have any Botox, filler or lash/brow tinting or perming for 4 weeks before and after the treatment, please remove contact lenses before any lash enhancements. We will send out a welcome pack which includes full pre and post treatment instructions.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT?
Following the treatment you may experience some redness and swelling, the skin may flake from around day 4 – this can be minimized by applying the ointment. The pigment will appear darker and more defined on the day of and the day after the treatment and will reduce by up to 50% once the skin has completely healed. We recommend attending the Perfecting Touch-Up visit (between 8 weeks post treatment) to assess how the pigment has settled and any touch ups that are required.
